- April Schnur, former owner of April's Family Hair Care Center,
brings years of experience and knowledge in the art of hair care and design to
Serendipity Hair Salon.
"I love doing hair, it's awesome! Not only is it a good creative outlet for me,
but it makes my clients look and feel great," says April.
April is a master stylist who specializes in men's, women's, and children's
cuts. Whether working with color, wrapping a perm, doing a cut or a waxing she
applies her expert level of technique and skill to the job. A graduate from Chic
University of Cosmetology she has been working in the hair care industry for
over twenty years. At the age of nineteen she opened her own salon named April's
Family Hair Care Center. As owner she managed finances, clientele, employees and
a family all while keeping the salon on the cutting edge of hair design and on
top of the latest trends. Later April became a merchandiser for The Pearlman
Group which is one of the largest beauty distributor's in the world. The
Pearlman Group represents famous beauty client accounts such as L'Oreal.
After years of working in the hair industry she decided to get her feet wet in
other areas. She left the hair world to work for BOSCH where she served as an
overseas training consultant in Lyon France. Although the experience was life
changing she decided to go back to doing what she loved. April can now be found
